Merck, makers of the infamous Vioxx, as well as a suite of pediatric and adult vaccines, has not only been marketing drugs they knew were dangerous, they've also been covering up death in drug trials and hiring prominent physicians to sign their name on research that Merck was doing in-house (to make it look legit, so it could prove the safety of their drugs). Sadly, I am not surprised. I would bet all the drug companies are into this practice. It makes me sick though.
For vaccines, Merck makes Varicella, MMR, one of the HepBs, one of the Hibs (which was recently recalled for other problems), the Hib/HepB combo, one of the HepAs, and one of the Pneumococcals. Wonder much foulplay was involved in the studies proving the "safety" of these vaccines...

Is Merk the only maker of the MMR vaccine? Can you request a certain "maker" when getting the vaccine?

The corruption in the big Pharma IS the evil they convince us that the "side effects" of the drugs are "ok and acceptable" they only tell us the americans that which they think we need to know. They won't tell us that we might kick over and die from taking this "fantastic drug" find me a drug without a side effect and I will show you an honest politician.

Yes, Merck is the only maker of MMR. I can't remember if they are also the makers of the monovalent measles, mumps, and rubella though. Probably doesn't matter much, cause I don't know any clinic that will order the monovalent shots in town. Wish I did...
I would try and defend my PhD AKA tons of cash payed out if I was you, but good luck. If you wanted to do something worthwhile make a drug with no side effects oh wait that's impossible because chemicals NEVER mix with a human endocrin system. Why don't you help those doctors out there realize they know ZIP about the hormon balances in humans and that DEATH is NOT an acceptable side effect neither is hyper sexualatity and compulsive gambling, you know the drug for "restless legs Syndrome" as you doctors call it.
