We've decided not to find out this time. I kinda can't believe it. I was so sure I wanted to know with both of my previous pregnancies, and though we told the ultrasound technician not to waste time hunting for it, we were relieved when baby made it really easy to guess their gender. But this time, the ultrasound instructions will be to steer clear of the goods! And we are totally comfortable with that plan.
I still think it is a boy though. I've just felt that way from a few weeks in. We didn't try for a boy or girl this time, so it really could be either. But I just feel boyish. Plus I've been sicker than sick (still puking about every other day...at 18 weeks!), and though I wasn't THIS sick with my son, I was certainly sicker with him than I was with my daughter. Each pregnancy has just gotten sicker and harder. We have plans for a 4th after this, but for the first time I'm actually dreading the whole pregnancy part of it. I just don't enjoy pregnancy very much. I like the idea of it, but my pregnancies have been very hard on me. Guess I'll never grow up to be a surrogate.

We knew with 3 of ours and didn't find out with the other 4. With our first, ultrasound was not even an option unless you were having a medical problem - my things have changed.
We really like the excitement of not knowing - kind of like opening presents at Christmas!
I'm glad to hear things are going better pregnancy-wise.
Love following your blog! I once posted a very extensive online voting forum to find out how many women guessed the correct gender of their baby. About 800 women voted and this was the results I got: Only 35% of women correctly guessed when it was a girl and 65% correctly guessed when it was a boy. So boys must send out stronger vibes. Good luck!
The surprise is so sweet. Plus, if you enjoy the whole baby name game, it is even more fun to have two lists!
Congratulations!
