Arthritis, plantar fasciitis, or broken foot?
My foot hurts. It has been hurting for 2.5 weeks. It isn't excruciating, but it is very annoying. I can't walk properly, so it is making my other foot and my knees and hips hurt too. I hurt it by going for a long walk (longer than I'd done since early in my pregnancy) with bad shoes and carrying a heavy load. Stupid, I know. I finally made an appointment to see my doctor, and though his nurse had mentioned the possibility of plantar fasciitis on the phone, the doc thought it might be broken, or that perhaps I was getting arthritis already. AAAACCCCKKK! I'm only 31! So I got sent for x-rays, which required some juggling of childcare so I could go to the hospital by myself. Thankfully x-rays only took about 45 minutes. But of course, because it was Friday afternoon, and this is a holiday weekend, results may not be in until Thursday of next week. Geez. Until then, I'll just keep hobbling around like a monster.
