The Business of Being Born comes to Corvallis
Ricki Lake's wonderful film, The Business of Being Born, will be playing in Corvallis as part of V-week on Wednesday, February 13th from 4-6 pm on the OSU campus in the MU Main Lounge. There will be a panel Q&A afterwards with a homebirth midwife, a certified nurse midwife, an OB (hopefully), an RN, a birth doula, a postpartum doula, and a family doctor. Vagina Monologues goes on stage in LaSalles Stewart that night from 7-9, and again the next night (V-Day) too. There will be several other events that week as well. Sounds like it is going to great fun!

Do you know how much it costs to get in?
FREEEEEE! Sponsored by the OSU Dept of Anthropology and the Reproductive Health Lab (Missy Cheyney, CPM, LDM is part of both). Hope to see you there!
Yes, I will be there!!
Days later...it occurred to me in my sleep that you might have thought I meant both events are free. BOBB is free. VM was $10 at the door last year, so probably similar this year.
Lemme know you read this, k?
Gah!!! And now I just got a note that VM is actually scheduled for the 14th and 15th...so NOT the same night as BOBB. Shucks. I did get it confirmed though that VM is $10.
Sorry about the misinformation.
