Mama!

Alder's first word: Mama. He's not even 8 months old, but it is crystal clear that he is trying to talk to me. It sounds more like mamamamammaamammama, but he ONLY does it when he WANTS me and it is really obvious he's trying to get me to come pick him up. If Keith picks him up instead, he continues to say mamamamama. I just love it. Ava wasn't identifyably saying mama until like 12-14 months, so this just really speaks to my heart.

Yep, Alder is a mama's boy.
